Riding through Kuala Lumpur

Malaysia is a vibrant hub where urban sophistication meets an incredible food scene and breathtaking natural beauty – offering a dynamic blend of city life, culinary delights and stunning landscapes. Because it has such diverse landscapes, when pitching Malaysia as a destination for Kia’s Q1 incentive, we proposed the idea of going to not one, but two different locations!

The first stop was the city of Kuala Lumpur. Staying at the W Hotel and with immense skyscrapers as the backdrop, including the famous Petronas twin towers, the Q1 top achievers got to experience the urban vibrancy the capital city has to offer. And what better way to explore a city than on the back of a Harley Davidson motorcycle! The group visited the Batu Caves, Chinatown, the Guan Di Temple, Central Market, the River of Life, and Merdeka Square.

Discovering Langkawi's beauty

For the second half of the incentive, the delegates flew to the beautiful island of Langkawi and stayed at the luxurious 5-star resort, The Datai.

Langkawi truly gave the guests a chance to relax and unwind, with a private dinner on the beach, a tour through the luscious mangroves at Kilim Geoforest Park, and a visit to the Langkawi Skybridge. Just in case guests were looking for something little more exhilarating, they had the option of taking a jet ski tour arounds parts of the island. The Shore Events project team were on-hand from day one to organise and deliver this incredible incentive. From researching and sourcing the hotels, to ensuring that each guest had a personalised itinerary, the events team were there to support every step of the way.
