Throughout my career, my goal has always been to open my own events agency so that I can run events that contain my values at their core.
In 2014 this dream came true when I founded Shore Events in my home town of Brighton.
I am very fortunate to have been able to fulfil two of my passions in life – travel and people; having travelled across the globe, working with a truly diverse range of clients, team members and suppliers.

Having worked in Finance and HR throughout my whole career I am now so fortunate to have a role that includes my third passion – travel!
At Shore, I am the bridge between all departments and my role is to provide a happy work environment for staff, whilst at the same time making sure they are realising their potential. I’ve never worked for a company that is so focused on building great relationships with suppliers and clients alike, it is a breath of fresh air!

I joined the events industry straight out of University with no real idea of what I was getting into and WOW how lucky I have been! Every day is different and my role as Project Manager allows me to work on all aspects of the event from start to finish. I also love a challenge so finding something new and exciting is one of my favourite things about events… as well as travelling to amazing destinations all around the world.
One of my favourite things about working at Shore is the longstanding partnerships we have with our suppliers and the transparency we have with our clients. These help to create an honest and open working environment allowing us to deliver amazing results.

Before joining Shore in January 2022, I graduated from University with a BA Hons in Graphic Art & Design. My creative skillset has taken me on a journey of different roles, none of which seem to match my experience with Shore so far!
From delegate management for international incentives, app builds to large scale conference set ups, I enjoy the variety of tasks in my role, each as important as the next. Every day is different in the exciting world of events!

Marketing & Comms Manager
My career to date has involved event management and marketing in equal measure, including a period at one of the world’s largest advertising agencies. I’ve now merged my passions for events marketing, and travel into a single role.
I enjoy working alongside our clients to deliver the comms for their events, as well as leading the marketing drive here at Shore.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children, whilst trying to squeeze in time for running, golf, football and gardening.

My journey hasn’t exactly been straightforward in the events industry… I left during Covid-19 and pursued my passion of holistic therapies and Palliative care, with a side of crystals and aromatherapy. However, I missed the pull of travel, events and the get-up and go attitude.
I’m so lucky to have found Shore Events and I love bringing my knowledge, hard work and values which I learnt in the care industry, into my work and how I build relationships with my clients.

I recently graduated the University of Brighton with a degree in international events management with marketing and decided I didn’t want to leave the coast!
I’ve been lucky enough to go straight into my dream job, mixing events with travel, and working alongside amazing people. I helped deliver a variety of events alongside my education as well as competing internationally in cheerleading!

Since starting my career in events over 9 years ago, I have been lucky enough to work on a wide variety of events from weddings to large scale conferences. I love the variety the industry brings; no two projects are the same!
I enjoy discovering new destinations and exciting venues to achieve a client’s every want and need in their vision. I enjoy building positive relationships with clients and suppliers alike and am excited to be part of the team at Shore Events and work for an agency with such positive values at its core.
I have always lived by the coast and am now lucky enough to work by the sea as well. In my spare time, you’ll find me paddleboarding on Brighton beach, playing netball or baking cakes!

I have always enjoyed working with people, attention to detail and going above and beyond with my client projects, so it is no surprise I love working in Events.
As each event is different, I am constantly developing my operational skillset and knowledge, whilst working with a variety of people. I love being able to travel to unique parts of the world to execute these events, it is a novelty that will never wear off! I have learnt incredible skills, such as stage management and production whilst onsite.
I feel very lucky to be a part of the Shore Events team, bringing my wealth of experience to help create these memorable events for our clients, in Shore’s refreshingly simple and honest way.
Plus, I get to see the sea on the way to work!

In February 2020 we were all devastated to lose Paul Lind. He was both Chris’s father but was also instrumental in the creation of Shore Events.
Paul helped to create the company and then became the Financial Director helping to support the team both at home and during their international work. We continue to support the Martlets Hospice in his memory, who were so supportive to the Lind family during his last few days.

The experienced team help us to provide a 24 hour support service to clients should unforeseen circumstances occur, explore new destinations and effectively book flights for large or small groups.
Our mobile app & badging technologists
CrowdComms deliver event apps and badging solutions that enhance the experience for guests attending conferences, exhibitions and incentive trips.
The technicians at CrowdComms support the Shore team from build, through to onsite delivery. Gone are the days of printed itineraries, the technology enables us to provide fully branded, constantly updated, smooth communication with our attendees.
