Throughout my career, my goal has always been to open my own events agency so that I can run events that contain my values at their core.

In 2014 this dream came true when I founded Shore Events in my home town of Brighton.

I am very fortunate to have been able to fulfil two of my passions in life – travel and people; having travelled across the globe, working with a truly diverse range of clients, team members and suppliers.

Having worked in Finance and HR throughout my whole career I am now so fortunate to have a role that includes my third passion – travel!

At Shore, I am the bridge between all departments and my role is to provide a happy work environment for staff, whilst at the same time making sure they are realising their potential. I’ve never worked for a company that is so focused on building great relationships with suppliers and clients alike, it is a breath of fresh air!

I joined the events industry straight out of University with no real idea of what I was getting into and WOW how lucky I have been! Every day is different and my role as Project Manager allows me to work on all aspects of the event from start to finish. I also love a challenge so finding something new and exciting is one of my favourite things about events… as well as travelling to amazing destinations all around the world.

One of my favourite things about working at Shore is the longstanding partnerships we have with our suppliers and the transparency we have with our clients. These help to create an honest and open working environment allowing us to deliver amazing results.

My career to date has involved event management and marketing in equal measure, including a period at one of the world’s largest advertising agencies. I’ve now merged my passions for events marketing, and travel into a single role.

I enjoy working alongside our clients to deliver the comms for their events, as well as leading the marketing drive here at Shore.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children, whilst trying to squeeze in time for running, golf, football and gardening.

After graduating from the University of Sussex with a degree in English Language and Linguistics, I was introduced to the world of marketing, which led me to my role today as a Marketing Executive with Shore Events. I love writing and creating fascinating content for an industry as exciting as events, and Shore has given me the incredible opportunity to work with an amazing group of people.

Outside of Shore, I love exploring Brighton and the surrounding areas, and in my downtime, I love to read, watch the F1, and go swimming in the sea.

With over nine years of experience, my professional journey is defined by a genuine passion for creating unforgettable experiences, from the initial brief to the seamless execution of events. I thrive on the collaborative process, immersing myself in my clients' world, and building strong relationships to ensure that every event not only meets but exceeds their expectations.

Outside of my world of events, I love long walks along the seaside or through the countryside, with my miniature dachshund, Ragnar, and long-suffering partner, Jack. I love to travel, having recently embarked on a three-month sabbatical exploring Australia and New Zealand. My love for socialising extends to quality time with family and brunching with friends.

I’m joining Shore with over 6 year’s experience in the events industry – having previously worked within MedComms. Even with the hiccup of Covid, I have been very fortunate to travel the world with this job and share in some lifelong experiences with clients and colleagues alike.

My absolute favourite part of my job is getting to interact and work with people from across the globe. No day is ever the same and it is forever exciting and challenging being able to build lasting relationships with new people. I’m very fortunate that Shore shares this ethos and way of working.

I have always enjoyed working with people, attention to detail and going above and beyond with my client projects, so it is no surprise I love working in Events.

As each event is different, I am constantly developing my operational skillset and knowledge, whilst working with a variety of people. I love being able to travel to unique parts of the world to execute these events, it is a novelty that will never wear off! I have learnt incredible skills, such as stage management and production whilst onsite.

I feel very lucky to be a part of the Shore Events team, bringing my wealth of experience to help create these memorable events for our clients, in Shore’s refreshingly simple and honest way.

Plus, I get to see the sea on the way to work!

Since starting my career in events over 9 years ago, I have been lucky enough to work on a wide variety of events from weddings to large scale conferences. I love the variety the industry brings; no two projects are the same!

I enjoy discovering new destinations and exciting venues to achieve a client’s every want and need in their vision. I enjoy building positive relationships with clients and suppliers alike and am excited to be part of the team at Shore Events and work for an agency with such positive values at its core.

I have always lived by the coast and am now lucky enough to work by the sea as well. In my spare time, you’ll find me paddleboarding on Brighton beach, playing netball or baking cakes!

I have worked within the travel and events industry for the past 15 years, building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues. During the pandemic I worked within the NHS which provided me with an additional skill set and understanding.

I love to travel and explore different destinations which this role allows me to do. Each event and day is different at Shore Events which I really love as there is so much variety.

When I am not busy with my family I love to read, travel and run the odd 5k!

I began my journey in the events industry six years ago, and I feel so incredibly fortunate to work with such amazing people from all corners of the world. Every day is unique, and I thrive on the diversity and excitement that comes with a new challenge!

In my free time, I love being outdoors, whether it’s catching up with friends around a campfire, discovering the best hiking spots or horse riding through the countryside.

I recently graduated the University of Brighton with a degree in international events management with marketing and decided I didn’t want to leave the coast!

I’ve been lucky enough to go straight into my dream job, mixing events with travel, and working alongside amazing people. I helped deliver a variety of events alongside my education as well as competing internationally in cheerleading!

With a background in Journalism, I have a strong passion for meeting new people and travelling all over the world. My role as a Junior Project Manager allows me to do just this with the added excitement of watching a project come to life. While I am just starting off my career, being at Shore has already encouraged me to feel confident and supported as I enter the wonderful world of events.

Beyond this role, I have a keen interest in environmentalism and nature which are both complemented at Shore with it being an environmentally conscious organisation located on the beautiful seafront. Between the positivity and enthusiasm of the team, the stunning location, and the incredible opportunities of the role, I have truly landed my dream job.

After graduating from the University of Sussex in 2022 with a BSc in Psychology with Business and Management, I took a chance and started an internship in an industry I knew nothing about – events! It took 3 months, and I was hooked! I fell in love with the travel, the people, the work and atmosphere all at once.

Nearly two years later and I’m working at Shore Events, travelling the world, providing the best events I can to my clients alongside an amazing team!

Outside of work, you can find me anywhere that sells a coffee reading a good book, or on the beach with friends in the coastal sunshine.

After completing an internship at an events agency in Birmingham and graduating from University with a degree in English literature, I decided that a career in events was what I really wanted to pursue.

I love travelling, meeting new people, and being busy, so Shore seemed like the perfect fit!

Since I have recently moved into the area, in my spare time I hope to be exploring all that Brighton has to offer and finding the best places eat and drink.
