Shore Events started working on the FCA New Orleans event way back in 2019. We all know why it wasn’t delivered until 2022… but what you might not know, is that to deliver this highly successful incentive, the following elements were delivered: 

  • A multi-level access-controlled website and app, developed in a very short time frame to allow the audience to login easily and securely, to access highly sensitive sales data and their sales performance, whilst simultaneously enabling zone managers to view all the dealers under their remit  
  • Interactive league tables, updated daily via a data feed 
  • An event app designed and built to contain the itinerary, hotel information, travel details and essential event information
  • A registration website for the winners
  • A comms plan to ensure full awareness of the incentive, how to win and to drive improved performance
  • A programme/itinerary to excite the audience and strategically drive sales

New Orleans: beautiful,
historic, and entertaining

But you need more than a plane ticket to make an incentive truly successful. An incentive’s success doesn’t just come down to the post-event feedback. It comes down to hitting objectives – positive feedback is then the icing on the cake!

To deliver this incentive, we ensured the audience was engaged, by:

Developing, with the full involvement of the client (including a site visit), an exciting reward and itinerary that incentivises improved performance

Building an engaging communications campaign to deliver key information to the audience conveniently – on this occasion via a secure website/mobile app

With these key elements in place, it was smooth sailing for the event team who ensured those in attendance had the time of their lives.

Winners experienced a Jazz concert at the historic Preservation Hall, luxury accommodation in the heart of the French Quarter, a sipping tour through New Orleans, an airboat encounter with alligators in the stunning costal Bayou’s, the famous Oak Alley plantation and some of Louisiana’s iconic film locations (Forest Gump and Django Unchained) plus some incredible food, drink and cocktails.
